The famous tigress Sheira comes from another animal park in Quebec. Sheira was the first to be part of the Miller Zoo conservation program. Indeed, the Siberian tiger or Amur tiger is critically endangered with a wild population of less than 500 individuals. Sheira arrived at Miller Zoo at the age of 6 months and immediately captured the hearts of visitors.
